Personal advising philosophy: I view advising as being a translator and map reader, an information wizard of sorts! I want to help you uncover how to get from where you are to where you ultimately want to be. I may not have all the answers, but I’m pretty good at figuring out where to go next!
Advice to students: Take chances, make mistakes, get messy! Lean into the things that make you uncomfortable, because that’s where learning & growth happen! College is a great time to try new things and figure out new things about yourself and the world. Embrace it! Don’t be afraid to ask questions!
Personal Motto: Use every experience as a learning experience
Favorite Quote: “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman
In my free time, I love reading, playing board and tabletop games, and searching for the world’s best French fry. Tell me about your D&D character or ask me for book recommendations!
