The Academic Advising Center staff includes professional positions (academic advisor, administrative support, and administrator) and work-study receptionist positions. Position openings are posted on the website as available.

Professional Advising Positions

The AAC is hiring academic advisors! To be eligible for consideration, applicants must upload both a resume and a cover letter through the Jobs at Iowa website. In the cover letter answer the following questions: using experience-based examples, please describe your academic advising philosophy or approach.

This position will end advertising no sooner than February 17, 2025. Please also review the additional information about AAC and the position of academic advisor.

Student Receptionist Positions

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a student receptionist to begin in spring 2025 with a possibility to continue into the 2025-26 school year. Applicant must be available to work over the summer, but the scope and hours are negotiable. Please note: all applicants must have federal work-study funding for the 2024-25 school year.
