Favorite Place on Campus: It’s the spot in the UI Hospitals and Clinics where Boyd Tower connects with the original General Hospital. You can stand inside and look straight up several stories of the original Gothic face of General Hospital. When the light hits right, it’s amazing.

Fun Fact: I also write and publish award-winning books, comics, and graphic novels as Candle Light Press, which recently entered its 30th year.

Advice for Students: Dig deep into the course catalog. Use the text search on MyUI and don’t try to guess what class might interest you. Put down what interests you and find the classes that will really engage you.
