Lower Level Classes
Students must complete all lower level classes before graduation. Lower level courses serve as the gateway to one or more upper-level classes.  Students should plan accordingly and should not wait until their final semester to take lower level classes

3 Upper Level Psychology Electives (PSY:3000+)
Students may select 3 or more upper level courses (9 s.h.) of their choosing after completing the appropriate lower level prerequisites.

Students complete a Computer Science, Statistics or Math course from the list of options below.

Second Area of Concentration
Students complete at least 9 sh of graded coursework in one department at The University of Iowa.  Courses used to fulfill CLAS Core cannot be used to satisfy this requirement.
BS Degree

(41 sh Psych + 3-4 sh Cognate + 11-12 sh Calculus/Science)
2.67 GPA + 30 s.h. earned in order to declare
