Teacher Education courses to choose from before TEP admission
PSQF:1075 Educational Psychology & Measurement (3 s.h.)
EDTL:2122 Create, Imagine, Play, Human Development in Arts (3 s.h.) (Literary, Visual, & Performing Arts Gen Ed)
EDTL:2155 Core Principles in Elementary Education (2 s.h.)
EDTL:4900 Foundations of Special Education (3 s.h.) (Diversity and Inclusion Gen Ed if taken at UIowa)
EPLS:3000 Foundations of Education (3 s.h.)
After admission to the Teacher Education Program, students are required to take EPLS:4180 Human Relations for the Classroom Teachier, which is a Values and Culture Gen Ed.
All TEP Core Courses, including content courses from this sheet, must be completed with a grade of C- or higher.
To change colleges into the College of Education, complete the Change of College application found in MyUI > Student Information > Change of College Application. If accepted, college changes are effective after the current semester ends.

Science
It is recommended (but not required) that you choose Gen Ed courses that fall into two different SCIENCE content areas. Students complete 7 s.h. of natural science coursework, including at least one lab course. Not all courses are offered every semester.

NOTE: Not every Gen Ed course on MyUI also counts as Social Studies Content. Social Studies content courses must be selected from TWO different departments which include ANTH, ECON, GEOG, HIST, POLI, PSY, and SOC. Additional options outside of these departments are noted with *
